Mission Statement
The Indiana Filmmakers Network works to facilitate dialogue among film and video makers in the state of Indiana. We endeavor to foster a creative community that provides support, camaraderie and resources to those working to see their visions become reality. Our gatherings are open to all with Hoosier connections who wish to participate.
We envision the Network as a primary resource for film and video makers who work in Indiana, as a launching platform for creativity, and as a true network where all are considered equal, regardless of technical knowledge or commercial success.
The Indiana Filmmakers Network meets monthly at the Hamilton 16 IMAX Exit 10 off I-69. The meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7pm. Anyone interested in filmmaking is welcome.
We'll be doing a basic overview of the art and science of cinematography - at least enough to help you better appreciate the DP's job!
IFN Northwest Indiana Chapter meets the second Monday of each month at 7PM at Rodney's Sports Bar/Langel's Pizza 2833 Highway Avenue, Highland, IN
This month's Indy IFN meeting will focus on Fund Raising. How to raise the money to make your film. This will be a roundtable discussion on the many ways filmmakers raise financing for their films.
We will have the usual door-prizes and casual networking.

Gerric Walker will be presenting a brief “how to” on different action stunts. He will share a few pieces of his work on video as a demonstration, but most of the presentation will be him walking, talking, and showing how things can be done.
Gerric is 36 years old and has 14 years in the entertainment industry, as a professional wrestler, filmmaker, and actor.
This free and open to the public presentation will take place immediately following our regular monthly Mid America Filmmakers meeting which begins at 7:00 p.m. You are welcome to join us for both.

The Lafayette Chapter meeting of IFN will be held Thursday, April 19th, 7-9PM, at the Goodrich Eastside 9 Theater.
The topic this month is "SOUND for film". Our special guest speaker is, Chuck Budreau! He will be presenting a production sound workshop, and showing us how to capture good sound on-set, so you won't have to fix it in post.
Following Chuck's presentation we will have our usual casual networking session.
IFN meetings are always free and open to the public.
Lafayette chapter meetings are held every 3rd Thursday of each month, at Goodrich Eastside 9 Theater, 7pm-9pm or until everyone chooses to leave.
