Multi-award winning Karmic Courage Productions in collaboration with Inverted Staircase Productions is seeking cast and crew for its fourth short film, LEAH NOT LEIA, filming February 2010 in Noblesville, Indiana and its outlining areas.

An open casting call will be held Saturday, January 16th at the Noblesville Library, in Noblesville, Indiana.

This project is a micro budget, non-paying, non-union production but a great opportunity to network, add to your production resume, and exposure for your work. All contracted cast and crew will receive a DVD copy of the finished film, on set meals, and their name in the credits.

Past Karmic Courage project have shown at film festivals, high schools, and sci-fi conventions nationwide. Its latest project FIRST THEY CAME FOR was the winner of the INDY Award for audience choice, the Gold Award for defying stereotypes, and was nominated for the Hoosier Lens Award from the Indianapolis International Film Festival.

About the Project:

A dark comedy about a baby girl born during the STAR WARS boom in 1977 who shares a similar name to a certain Jedi Princess that wasn’t allowed to wear underwear.
