Mission Statement
The Indiana Filmmakers Network works to facilitate dialogue among film and video makers in the state of Indiana. We endeavor to foster a creative community that provides support, camaraderie and resources to those working to see their visions become reality. Our gatherings are open to all with Hoosier connections who wish to participate.
We envision the Network as a primary resource for film and video makers who work in Indiana, as a launching platform for creativity, and as a true network where all are considered equal, regardless of technical knowledge or commercial success.
The Indiana Filmmakers Network meets monthly at the Hamilton 16 IMAX Exit 10 off I-69. The meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7pm. Anyone interested in filmmaking is welcome.

Editor / producer Alex Johnson, writer / producer Collin Armstrong, and Collin's wife Natalie just returned from Philadelphia, where Red Harvest (Venogram, 2007) screened as part of the second annual Terror Film Festival and was honored as the Best Horror Short!
The film played to a nearly sold-out house and really engaged the audience, who participated in a spirited Q&A with Collin and Alex afterward.
Congratulations to everyone who helped make Red Harvest happen and keep spreading the word!

Kate Chaplin's HDV short entitled "First They Came For..." was filmed on Nov. 15 & 17. Production stills can be found at http://www.polinaosherov.com/blog .
SYNOPISIS:
Inspired by the poem by the Reverend Martin Niemoller, this short film is set in a not-so-distant future where a nondescript regime takes away various discriminated groups out of everday situations where they are creating no crime, all the while our narrator watches this injustice happen and struggles between standing up and saving himself.
Please visit Karmic Courage at http://www.myspace.com/karmiccourage for the latest info on the production!
